Jason Renshaw, series author of Boost!, has been teaching English for 15 years in various capacities in countries including Australia, Sweden, England and Korea.  For the past seven years he has been heavily involved in teacher training and curriculum design for young learners and teenagers.  He is a past president of the Korea TESOL Busan-Gyeongnam Chapter, a past committee member for the IATEFL Young Learners and Teenagers Special Interest Group and currently serves as co-facilitator for Korea TESOL's national Young Learners and Teenagers Special Interest Group.  He holds a Bachelor's Degree in English, TEFL Certification and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Applied Linguistics/TESOL.

Laura Miller, author of Boost! Vocabulary, is a South African author who has been based in Asia since 2002. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English, TEFL Certification and a Master’s Degree in Linguistics, focusing on cross-cultural communication and second language acquisition. She has taught English in South Africa and Taiwan, and is presently based in Hong Kong. She worked for Pearson Longman for four years, before pursuing her career as an author.
